The incredibly talented Rufus Wainwright stopped by The Village this month to serenade the KCRW listeners with old favorites and a few new tunes. With an extensive catalogue of hauntingly distinctive originals, Rufus kept us all captivated during this live broadcast. For an added bonus, Wainwright’s sister Martha was in attendance lending her crystal-clear, folk style voice to several harmony parts, including a beautiful French piece taught to them by their late mother.
