Santigold Live at Studio D

Updated: Jun 1, 2020

Santi White is a college educated, former A&R rep who left the business side of the industry to make her own music. Since her early days as front woman for punk band “Stiffed” to her debut album in 2008, Santigold has brought her own brand of talent and style to countless collaborations and live shows. The band blew us away in Studio D with their set for KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, which appropriately followed the April release of their second album, “Master of My Make-Believe”. Currently on tour, future plans for the group have not been disclosed but after watching Santi and the band in action, we will be paying close attention to where they are headed. Ghian Wright engineered while Alex Williams assisted.

The history of snow riding snow rider dates back thousands of years. In regions where winters were long and harsh, people developed ways to travel across snow efficiently. Early forms of skis were used in northern Europe and Asia as a practical solution for transportation and hunting. Archaeological evidence suggests that ancient communities in Scandinavia used wooden skis more than 5,000 years ago. These primitive skis allowed people to move across deep snow without sinking. As societies developed, skiing became not only a means of survival but also a source of enjoyment and competition.
