Thursday marked one of the very few rainy days Los Angeles has been graced with in the past couple months, but that didn’t stop The Village from throwing a great party!
Held at the historic Mack Sennett Studios in Silverlake, CA, The Village welcomed Nico Vega for a special showcase of their upcoming songs. Featuring all new tracks as well as singles, “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” and “Easier”, the set was a balance of the familiar and the unexpected – both being beyond expectations.
The four-piece performed for an audience filled with celebrities and industry folk, enjoying an open bar provided by Amour Prive Winery, Bushmills and Mulberry Love specialty cocktails as well as delicious snacks from Cheffry. Nico Vega’s showmanship is unparalleled, but its just the icing on the cake compared to their seemingly effortless musical perfection.
Special thanks to those who attended, including Kamran V, CEO of Bedrock Studios who provided sound for the evening with one of their several top of the line PA systems, and Kevin Bronson of Buzzbands.LA and KCSN 88.5, for providing music for the evening. A very special thank you to Jesse Rogg, CEO and keeper of Mack Sennett Studios, who pulled out the red carpet for us and helped make the event magical.
